Hello. I installed a vanilla EU2 1.08. It had the scenario editor, which I thought was cool and tried a little. Worked alright. Then I added the latest 1.08 beta patch. Next time I tried the scenario editor, almost every time I tried to give a country an Italian province the editor crashed. (I say Italian because I managed a few other provinces.) Is there a fix for this? Does it involve ditching the beta patch? If so, how do you do that? (I could always uninstall, but besides that I mean.)

This is a Bug Report, not a Tech Support issue, so I'll move you accordingly.

This is a known problem with the Scenario editor, but even before the betas it had other unsolvable problems anyway. I recommend you go over to the modifications forum and check out how they do things now.

In other words, the Scenario Editor is unreliable and shouldn't be used. :)

Too bad, in a way, since the game is so easy to mod, being a text-driven program. You'd hope that EU3 comes with a properly working Scenario Editor. ;)
