I know I am still about 5-7 years :) away from running through all the scenarios this game shipped with, but I am already interested in the scenarios available on this site. Problem is, they scare the heck out of me. See, I'm an old (45-didn't want to do the math on that other post) guy who loves history, not computers per se (great tools though), and live in constant dread of screwing things up (I know, uninstall and start over, but) so if someone could put up a scenario usage (not editing, I know better than to go there) faq it would be greatly appreciated. My questions would include

1. How do I know what scenarios are safe to download with my language version (in my particular case-USA)

2. Where do I put the scenarios (I did see an empty download folder when I opened my EU file-is that it?)

3. Any rules on installation and on starting the scenario.

Thanks

As I see it it's pretty simple. You can use any scnario you want. Hartmann's IGC scenario is only one which I know needs some basic editing to do. Even that is no biggy.

You just download the scen and unpack it to your scenario folder. Scenarios is in your game(EU) folder.

For example:

If you have installed the game to default directory the folder to unzip should be

C:program FilesParadox EntertainmentEuropa UniversalisScenarios

After you have done this just start the game and the new scen should be choosable among the others in the start menu.
