I experience the problem shown in pic at higher resolutions.
Is this a known problem?
Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Have you checked if those two lines in settings.cfg (main AoD folder)

Code:
0 #LANGUAGE (0=english, 1 = french etc..)
0 #MUSIC (1 for on)
0 #WINDOWED MODE (1 for on)
europa.valkyrienet.com
[COLOR="#FFFF00"]1920 #Width
1080 #Height[/COLOR]
1 # Disable intro

actually match your screen resolution? If not, change the values accordingly.

I hope this fixes the problem.

Seems like a GPU problem.
Game works fine when i disable discrete GPU and run on the integrated Intel HD graphics.
My drivers are up to date.
Please check all the options in drivers settings. For instance i have once set morfologic filtering (IIRC) which resulted in nice blur, which i thought was implemented in new DH patch BTW :) (same graphics engine)
