You're kidding right?:D You know that they aren't included in the game?;)

Of course. ;) But, seeing as there's always some new member who asks for a picture of North America in a medieval game, or that asks for a picture of southern France on, say, Shogun Total War forums, I thought I'd spare this person the embarrassement of asking and looking not too bright already. :)

Sorry, CoAs for the Duchy of Quebec and County of Arkansas are not ready yet. ;)

There should be a mention that they do exist, though, for gamers will be surprised if, as I think will happen, a large army of Huron warriors led by Chief Justice Pontiac lands in Normandy on June 6, 1344, and doesn't stop advancing until it has reached central Germany, leaving nothing but ruins and Coca Cola in its wake.

I know I can't stand the Purble Buggers. They always outstay their welcome in EU2, and now those damned modders are going to them into Viccy as welll! Don't they know when they are supposed to STAY down!
So: Don't listen to these foolish men, but rather show us a picture of the Most Holy Roman Empire. Or maybe Sweden (I wonder how many provs we get this time :D).

Then you're going to hate this game, since it starts just after the Byzantines reach their height of power (post-Heraclius, of course). :p ;)

I freely admit to looking forward to playing Byzantium - so far Paradox games have done a good job of contextualising my view of periods of history. So far the only part of medieval history that has appealed to me is that of Byzantium, so it's one of the states (second to England) that I'm looking forward to playing the most.

But those pesky Turks are going to have to give them a comeuppance early in the game causing them to cry for help to Mr. Pope. Or 'Crusader Kings' will turn into 'Kings'.

As I can't play the Turks and do the dirty work myself, I at least hope I can ally myself with them to finally eradicate the Purple Menace! :D

I thnik that I will be able playing as Byzantium avoid many mistakes made by eastern emperors. ;)
So Turks will be crushed :D

I'd like to see a screenshot of the game crashing, because that's what it'll do on my system until the first patch comes out.

Btw I second those who say "anything BUT a map" for the next screenie.
