Looks Nice, a bit more of North Africa and Far Eastern Europe than I thought would be in. Looks like a lot of room for us. I can't wait to see more.
And best of all, the entire Caspian Sea and even some territories beyond to the east are included

It's the dark blob to the right of the Black Sea.
It would appear that the overall map being used is styled after the maps of the era which are not particularly accurate as far as actual land mass goes. An excellent decision, IMO.

Remember- i told that when you post a photo with some kind of vague representation of screenshot on it, people will try to use all kinds of photo editing software to make it more clear.
I was even willing to pay my month salary on it
ye were right, we have some Lords of Photoshop around here as I see now
re: beta expectations, i am not quite certain what the date is. the way it looks, we are going to cut some of the game model in order to finish on time (didn't put that in the progress update not to spoil the christmas spirit). depending on how successful we are at that, we will have it sooner or later. and in terms of series, it rather be sooner because then we will have the chance to do CK2 within reasonable timeframe -- otherwise it will be more like end of 2004 which i would hate since we have so many interesting ideas to implement before the next MTW comes out
