At another look... yes, they must be candles.

Notice that the main window on the right is scrollable, they must be planning to house a significant amount of information there!

Isn't this fun, speculating over a bunch of blurred pixels?

I'm getting a headache...;)

upper left corner is COA of your selected KINGDOM not province. your char normally won't control more than one or two.

the blurred thing in sidebar is fortification icon. reflecting WAY OF LIFE and level of upgrade.

on the rest, my lips are sealed.

That was what I was talking about. All bow down before the Master of Or, I mean CK.

The candles may represent the 'way of life' part then, somehow, and the 'bowl/plate' may in fact be a low-level wall (perhaps wooden)

Trip, look at the last development update. Sergei answered with a little more precise resume of things to come, especially about beta.

Problem is, that some features will be left aside due to lack of time. Don't know which ones yet, but this update is of most informative.

all that sushi must make you sick after a while.... ;)
Eat Italian!

hmmm i got an idea for a thread...

By the look of the screenie, the game has tons of features.

The map looks more "real".

Can anyone figure out the coa in the upper left corner?

BTW: Araanor, I tried what you said with Photoshop 7.0.1, and it worked!

:)

Those lighter bands are probably just there because cameras can't pick up the frame rate, so the screen seems to flare. You see it if you film a computer screen or a tv screen.

I assumed that the original photo was just a picture of the screen, not a film. Does that also happen with pictures ?

it can happen with regular camera film as well as digital photos...

Really it all depends on the Refresh Rate of the Projector, if it goes fast enough you wouldn't be able to see those bands but if its goes slow you see it...

Well, if the screenshot was just paper, and a camera took a picture of it, of course there wouldn't be any light bands...but the picture is projected, so you get the effect.

Alright, call me bored, but I smacked together another one with slightly better geometry, 4:3 proportions and lusher colors. ;)

I don't know, Araanor, but the size isn't OK yet... It should be smaller IMHO...:p :D

There are still some questions:
What are the black blobs on the map, cities ?
Why is there a scrollbar, when there are only 5 lines ?
What influences WoL (way of life), religion, economy, technology ?
Will the number of towers of the fortification-icon indicate the strength of the province ?
Does someone have a CIA/FBI-program to decypher the text ?
