So I had to get a new computer and I downloaded my copy of CKII to it yesterday. I noticed that I wasn't able to take screenshots and so checked what was in the CKII folder. I see dumps, gfx, logs, map, savegames, dlc_signature, and settings. I downloaded CKII onto my old computer when it still worked with the same Steam download, and it had a screenshot folder, which worked fine. Is there anything I can do? Is this more of a question for the Steam tech support? Thanks.

Steam screenshots and CK2 screenshots are unrelated functions.

f12 is the Steam one, which puts them wherever Steam puts them, not with the game.

f10 and f11 are CK2 screenshots and will, or should, place them in the game folders.

I know. The screenshots just don't seem to be in the game folders. There doesn't seem to be a folder labeled "Screenshots" in the Crusader Kings II folder. The "screenshot taken" text doesn't appear on the screen when I press f11. It's just a bit odd.

What about f10? f12?

As the Steam and game screenshot facilities are entirely unrelated, I cannot imagine what could possibly cause that for you.

Does f12 work in other Steam games for you?
