It's not a big deal really..., probably the last priority to consider, actually. The most important thing is gameplay, in which EU is excellent at. Anyway, it's just some comment I wanted to make. It's probably not realistic to change the graphics since they consume a lot of time and attention. But, just comments.... Hey, who knows? May be someone is listening.... ;)

They had less bulky clothes in the 1700's.
 
I like the way the rifles can just stand up for themselves. What tech-level does that take?
 
That is one of latest tech added to the land tech: guns levitation, is the next after: dopping troops (this allow you to use psico-drugs to improve your moral level). I believe it's great to speed up the movement of armies with cannons.
