I run the latest Mozilla Firefox on Win XP SP3 for the PC with the Windows default blue frame and screen elements. Except for the vb4 and HOI vb4 styles, the choice of styles in the chooser have the scrollbar is so faint and washed out that it is a struggle to pick it out and use it. I'd rather use the Victoria style for Victoria etc.

Is this some setting on my machine or in Firefox that I can use to sharpen the scrollbar or is it inherent in the Paradox forum set-up and style?

Thanks for your help!

What scrollbar? Do you mean the one to the right in all pages? That can not be changed by our themes, so I'm not sure what you mean. Could you take a screenshot of the issue maybe?

the problem is the contrast between the dark blue of the forum and the light blue of the scrollbar and the white background. sometimes i can't see the scrollbar either.

Looking through a range of websites I think I found the problem - it only appears on vbulletin powered sites (e.g., this one, also blackopsforum).

The bar boldness is OK on vb4 blue with the gray fringe. The Victoria skin has burgundy but the issue is not one of contrast, but that the side bar that scrolls is very very faint. This is using the latest Firefox. I opened IE and there is the same issue, though it is not as faint as in Firefox.

Still don't get it. Is this the scrollbar you are talking about? I can't see any faintness? It looks exactly the same in all web pages for me?

That is the one, only imagine that that slider was so close in grey to the rest of the bar that you had to squint or lean into the screen to try to find its location on the bar. As mentioned, it's not as bad in IE as Mozilla Firefox 4. I don't know if O/S makes a difference - XP SP 3 - maybe vbulletin doesn't support that.

I use Firefox 4 in the screenshot pasted above. I've also checked an XP machine in our forums and other sites. It looks exactly the same. Not the same as in my screenshot, but the same as everywhere else on the XP machine. Could you please post a screenshot of the issue?

I see the forum allows direct image uploads. I have a question - I can't find in Firefox help how to take a screenshot in FIrefox - can you tell me how, and where the file is saved? Thanks.
