Which version of 1.05 are you using?
A) Aussie version
B) NA 1.05
C) Na 1.05 + Fix

The error showed up as I was loading the game to play it. I can only remember that it said 'database mismatch' error and then sent me back to my desktop.

After posting here I did some changes with the 'known provinces' feature and it didnt show up anymore.

Happens when loading the scenario:

Critical error!

---Database mismatch---

Do you still want to continue?

Abort Retry Ignore

When I hit "Ignore", the scenario starts as if everything's fine. I havent played past January 4, so I dont know if it wouldve crashed or not.

did you made any changes to your files? installed any mod?

viper37 - I get the same error message.

I get it as the scenario is loading, during "reading scenario".

I am using a EU2 shortcut with a moddir command line. My moddir directory contains only a few modified files so far: soapy frog's revised combat tables, a major_eng event file, monarch_eng, revolt.txt and events.txt

Once I'm past this error (hitting ignore) it appears to be working normally, but I haven't played very far.

if you try with the original installation (no moddir) does it work?

Imho, in your modification, you just forgot a { or } somewhere.
I tried the link to the scenario forum, but it didn't work :(

I tried the original installation, substituting each of my mod files which use { or } in turn. Each one worked just fine. (Actually, I didn't really expect them not to - they are all part of the next EEP and have been well-tested, but you never know).
