Although I haven't been able to play the scenario yet, from what I read in the forum discussions it's going to be great. So I would like to thank all the people who spent considerable amount of time working on the scenario.

Moved office to the Maratimes, have we, General? :D

As if it matters, I think you mean Eastern time which is GMT-5.

Now if you were in Newfoundland...

Initial Difficulties

I've had some initial difficulties with the scenario. Namely, in playing the Byzantine Empire, the monarchs in the monarchs.pro file are not showing up in the game. Instead, they're named for generals in the Random Leaders file, Ferrand in the 1498 scenario and Martel in 1492. They apparently do not die, and the lack of new monarchs and the benefits/consequences they can bring rather stymie the game. Rather odd. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

All right, this is your BYZ1492.eug file:

header = {
name = "Second Byzantine Saga"
startyear = 1492
endyear = 1792

PRO = {
picture = "scenarios\data\fantasy.bmp"
scenariotactics = "Byzantine Empire"
countrytactics = "Byzantine Empire"
countrydifficulty = 3
countryeconomy = 4
countrymilitary = 3
countrydiplomacy = 5
missiontype = x
numcities = 4
numcolonies = 0
numtradingposts = 0
numgold = x

}
SIC = {
picture = "scenarios\data\fantasy.bmp"
scenariotactics = "Byzantine Empire"
countrytactics = "Byzantine Empire"
countrydifficulty = 3
countryeconomy = 4
countrymilitary = 3
countrydiplomacy = 5
missiontype = x
numcities = 4
numcolonies = 0
numtradingposts = 0
numgold = x

}

}
include = "scenarios\BYZ1492.inc"

The red part is the one you add. You have to add it to that exact place. When you add, just change the PRO tag to any tag in the list given above and you will be able to play as that nation. In this case it Kingdom of Cyrpus. Also if you would like to remove Byzantine Empire's major status just delete the PRO tag and everything between { and } tags.

OK

OK, done.
Now... what about the 1448 scenario? Same thing?
Furthermore, I did't run the EUUnlimited.exe because you told us that it doesn't work with the NA version of the game (and I've this), What problems does it give? When should we expect the patch for NA version?

I changed the PRO tag with SIC (trebizond) and the game crashes at the start (once I have chosen the shield of Trebizond and I pressed START)

All right, download the following file and unzip it into your EU\Scenarios directory. If it ask to overwrite click yes. This will allow you to play as Trebizond and Kingdom of Cyprus.

I tried. If I play with the Byzantine it works but if I chose Trebizond or Kingdom of Cyprus it crashes.

Oh damn, I forgot. Trebizond and Cyprus only exsist in the 1448 scenario and that won't work with NA version. I'm sorry, I'm already working on fixing that problem.

OK, no problem, I've the NA version so I've to wait...
I want ask you: did you consider the different boundaries of the HRE in 1448 scenario? I'm not expert of the 15th century history but I think they should be a little different, don't you?
