The year is 1935 and the United States is in turmoil. The Great Depression hit the US harder than most places. By the end of 1935, there were 3 major political parties in the United States: the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and the United States Nationalist Front. The USNF was headed by a man named Charles Wilson, and ran on a platform of creating an "American Empire".
As the three parties were preparing for the 1936 election, communists were encouraged by the growing strength of the Soviet Union. These radical elements, headed by Earl Browder, wanted a strong US/USSR alliance. The Communist Party USA and the United States Nationalist Front were considered opposites. The USNF recognised the Democratic government under Franklin Roosevelt as legitimate, and wished to defeat him in the next election. The Communist Party USA was planning revolution, and in late-1935, they acted.
One tuesday morning, Franklin Roosevelt and John Garner were in the passenger seats of a car on a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. Suddenly, an explosion was set off and a team of gunmen attacked the presidential car. Roosevelt was killed when the explosion went off, and Garner was shot in the neck trying to escape. After Garner died, a man was heard shouting "Long live the Revolution!". Communists sprung up all over the country, revolting in the streets and attacking police stations. The communists assaulted and captured the Congress building. They soon marched to take the White House.
Charles Wilson knew that Earl Browder was going to try a coup, and he was prepared. All over the country, USNF supporters gathered their weapons and helped the police fight the communists. After the communists took Congress, the Nationalists(USNF) seized the White House with the blessing of the Secret Service. The USNF prepared for the inevitable communist assault on the White House.
Battle of Washington D.C.: Earl Browder marched to the White House, expecting no resistance. The Nationalists set up barricades near the walls of the White House, and used old US Army tanks. As communist forces ran towards the White House entrances, they were surprised to find armed men waiting for them. The communists were cut down as they ran towards the building. Tanks fired thier guns into crowds armed with small arms, and men attacked each other with wooden sticks and kitchen knives at close range. Nationalist forces moved to push the communists away from the building and fired into ranks of poorly armed communists. The communists were in retreat, but were cut off by police riot control teams. Most of the communists were killed, and the survivors captured. Nationalist fighters burned Soviet flags as the captured communists were taken to be tried and executed.
All around the United States, police retook control of the streets rounded up surviving communists. The police had retaken the Congress, only to discover that most of the Congressmen were executed by the communists. After the smoke cleared, Charles Wilson declared himself president of the United States and declared marshal law. President Wilson announced that all the communists that revolted be tried as traitors. Earl Browder was executed in front of a firing squad, and the Communist Party USA was no more.
White House, Washington D.C., 1936:
Joseph Henderson, a US Army sergeant, walks into the war-torn White House. Henderson is an average-sized man with short hair and a semi-muscular body. He is a staunch supporter of the USNF and was summoned there by President Wilson. A guard asks him to follow, and he is led to the Oval Office. The office has light coming in the windows and is surprisingly untouched. Charles Wilson, a smallish man with a messy haircut, steps out from behind the desk and they shake hands.
"Welcome, Mr. Henderson." Wilson greeted.
"I understand you wanted to speak to me on something important." Henderson said.
"Many in the military recommended you for this assignment. They pointed to your outstanding leadership qualities." Wilson stated.
"Thank you, sir." Henderson said, flattered by the president's confidence.
They walk into the hallway and Wilson pulls a folder from behind a part of the wall. He scans through the folder and hands it to Henderson. Henderson opens the folder and reads the details.
"I want you to become the leader of a new special forces team. This team is called White Arrow. Thier job is to complete missions to aid the military in fighting the enemies of our nation." Wilson explained.
"Thank you. Who else is on my team?" Henderson asked.
"All the information you need is in that folder. Your team has been handpicked from the best of the US Military." Wilson said.
"I wish you the best of luck." Wilson said as he dissappeared into the Oval Office.
