I don't know what to say.
I got 42 power but my security station be like... nah, I be on a different grid.

But I guess that's me playing the game incorrectly because I have a security station...

Genuine bug, super weird one at that. Using your older save from the other thread, I cannot recreate the issue by letting the game run to the same date, but I see it in the save you've got here.
Again looking under the hood the Security station is, for some reason, now connected to its own discrete electricity grid and not using its parent dome unlike all the other buildings in the dome. Previously it was correctly connected to the grid, I don't know how to get it reconnected to the regular grid without demolishing and rebuilding it, which seems to work.

Can you think of any actions you took that may have caused this incase it can be triggered in some consistent way, when did it start happening as it used to be connected and have power so something made it change?

yes. As stated in the bug report, if you take the older save file and remove any cable the security station will be on the yellow grid.
See screenshots attached.
Dunno what made this become a thing in the first place though :-D
