Hi I made a mod, which main objective is to group cultures into bigger groups. I made it to avoid weird splits of cultures over the map when using randomizer eg. all Slavs are now in one group to avoid having West Slavs in Iberia and East Slavs in Tibet, but it doesn't work unfortunately. I'd be glad if someone could help me with it. I'm attaching file below (loc: documents/paradox/crusader kings 2/mod/modname/common/cultures/00_cultures.txt) :)

This is useless for anyone seeking to help you. You have to tell us what isn't working.
Idk. I made this. I made the ".mod" file enabler. I can click it, but it doesn't work for some reason, not only with randomiser, but neither in game. It's not my first mod, so it's especially weird. Text file I posted is the only content in this mod

Now that I think about it could "-" be a problem?
I used it in some names like "sino-altaic" (I didn't want to do localization as it is mostly utility mod.

Alright, that's a start. Did your mod have the correct folder structure? Culture files go into MyMod\common\cultures. Did your .mod file link to the correct folder? A tip for the future: Archive your entire mod into a zip file and upload that instead of the file you think contains the issue at hand.

The dash shouldn't be a problem, but creating new culture groups requires adding localisation. Also note that the game checks for the culture groups you eliminated in various events and other places, so gameplay will be altered with your mod.
