I'm in the middle of a game with Japan, and sent my nice fleet to the russians we are allied, and they are fighting the UK. Some days after my fleet reaching the port of St Petesburg, the fleet it's no longer mine, i can't claim it back, it's all russian. Is this WAD, or it's not expected to send fleets as expeditionary forces? Thanks.

Has nothing to do with fleets as such. The bug seems to be that if you send the AI an EF with more than one unit it may reorganize it and, in the process, the units may lose their EF status.

Ah, ok thanks. Then i won't send more expeditionary forces unless i want to give them as a present.
I don't think I've seen it happen when I send divisions one at a time. It seems to be related to the AI breaking up the corps you sent.
