I plan two updates a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Go Nanbu. I agree with the planned strategy however, do not feel too confident that because you have few neighbours any plots will fail.

From what I recall in Dev Diaries, plots can be made with the help of member from within your clan. Right?

Yes they can, but my son likes more because I am his Dad, this reduces his likelyhood to join a plot against me. So providing I am careful about who I hand out conquered land to I can reuce the risks of internal plots while I get myself stronger.

This AAR will probably decide for me whether to buy or not...no pressure :_)

Will follow with great interest !

Great!!! That gives us some peace of mind :)

Just remember that siblings may be jealous when the first born son inherits ;)

Isn't it better to conquer Namioka? It seems to be a one-province country too and gaining them would lower the chances of being encircled.

I think the idea is denying Tozawa to its neighbours. Namioka can wait and isn't in risk of being swallowed by any large neighbour.

one more week and we'll have the game.

and sweet, if my memory serves, Nagao doesn't really appeare as a seperate clan until the 1550s, in your game they're a good 70+ years ahead of their historical counterparts xD

anything on the western parts? :] i've always been more interest in the west for some reason, maybe because the court is there and so are shikoku and kyuushu.

how're the imagawa and ouchi doing? and what about the hosokawa and yamana? xD

EDIT:

i for one, would've picked up Tozawa, Ando or Namioka first and went for an alliance with Kasai, send a daughter or something like that.

that way, i'd be able to do what you want to, decrease the number of neighbours who would potentially prove to be enemies, if i managed to take all three, then that gives me one new neighbour, thus reducing the numbers from 4 to a mere 2, just a thought :]

could we get an overview of your courtiers? perhaps a screenie? so we can get a feel with how you're organizing your court dynamics (friends, trustees and potential foes).
