I find it od having read the books, especially the last book a dance with dragons. that ser barristan is not made hand of the queen in a feast of crows scenario, or that events are added so when daenerys goes missing he becomes the hand. perhaps his stats should be altered as well to reflect this, i dont know much aout modding cause if i did i would have changed it my self since i find it od not having such a man represented as he should be. i also find it wierd that a queensgard title is not added to deanerys similar to that of westeros, with ser barristan as commander. seeing that in the last book that is exactly what he is, as well as hand of the queen. i feel that this needs to be added with events making it so that if deanerys conquers westeros, ser barristan will usurp the already exsicting kingsguard title and sack those he would find not wanting. as it stands to me the only kingsguard ser barristan would agree on is loras tyrell. though this might change if jaime told deanerys why he killed her father.... though this is not in the books so one can only speculate. but knowing deanerys character i think she would forgive jaime and allow him to her queensguard.

but what are your thoughts?

serioiusly? nobody find ser barristan important? I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIVE..............................................................

Why should ANYONE think he IS important? He is a glorified bodyguard who is remarkably bad at his chosen profession, having failed to protect his charge at several occassions. Sure he got some mad fighting skill and a puff-up sense of honor but that is just about that you can say of him.

I'm actually slightly more creeped out by his tendency in this mod to end up married to Dany. That's the real reason I'd like him to get a Queen's Guard trait.

He's a pretty competent general too, from what little we've seen.

Plus he, you know, saved the Seven Kingdoms from a crazy two-headed mutant.

I'm pretty sure there is. If you win with Young Griff his bodyguard takes over as commander of the Kingsguard. Or at least it did in previous versions.

book spoilers.....

thats pretender that takes over the title of westeros. hence he replaces the former king. you don't get 2nd kingsguard once he lands.

Moon Boy and Hodor for King on the Iron Throne! They may be morons, but together they will be better than Aery's ever was!

Er, you guys forget that even Barristan himself had questioned his role of saving Aery during the Defiance. Also, Aery's reign started out fine, until the years just before the Defiance, and the Defiance itself dramatically accelerated his decline.
