I'm playing a game with a friend of mine, that we consider to be the best game we have ever played together. So as you can see we are very passionate about this particular game, however, I wouldn't be posting anything here if there wasn't a problem, everytime we reach a particular date (april 2nd 14:00) the computer thats hosting the game freezes.
We have tried everything that we thought could save our saved game. We have opened the saved game with notepad and editted the date. We have loaded the game in singleplayer, played a few days onward, saved it, then reloaded the new savedgame in multiplayer (only to learn that the AI changes all orders, and redeploys your units to the other side of the world). We have played the game untill the day the host's computer froze, then saved it and retried. We have tried everything we could think of to save the game, nothing has worked, and we've been at it for a week now.
Clearly this game means a lot of us, could someone please give some feedback, suggestions or maybe even the solution to this horrible problem that has ruined our precious savegame.
