it arrived way too late. That's why we have to push Eugen to work on it. Having a View Stats button or not won't change anything apart from the average time before getting a game in lobbies (which is increased by View Stats button).
So getting matchmaking before the game was even on full release was way to late?

Hemorrhaging new players does also seem to be a big reason why it takes too long to find a game too, wonder whether that had anything to do with 1 too many teamstacks which the newer players only found out about after the game.

Oh yeah, because not having a View Stats button killed the game.

The current matchmaking is lacking the options it needs to be attractive and it arrived way too late. That's why we have to push Eugen to work on it. Game has garbage matchmaker that no one uses, so as a result, people go over to custom lobbies which obviously has no matchmaker in itself and encourages friend list team stacks.

New players join lobbies, have absolutely no way of discerning the skill disparity in the lobby and get pummeled by players who have been around since day 1 of beta and use meta divisions. They get frustrated and leave, not understanding that it isn't their fault per say and 90% of the time they're joining lobbies that are so bad in team balance that the outcome is decided before the match even starts.

With the view stats button in place these players can view the stats of everyone in a lobby and see obvious team stacks and exit, they can also form their own "noob lobbies" (I see at least one every hour in WGRD) where they can learn to play against other similar skilled opponents. Some shitheads use the view stats button to team stack and ban anyone who has decent stats but conversely these lobbies can often easily be identified for future reference and avoided. As a result there is much better player retention as an artificial matchmaker is formed through said view stats button.

This is a pretty big explanation as to why WGRD is over three years old and has over twice the playerbase size that this game does.

Can I ask why do you think "stacked" teams are a problem?

Somehow games like CoH, C&C... Actually in all other games that is a non issue.

What do you get if you win or loose? Nothing.

In CS you are constantly thrown at "premades" and nobody makes a problem out of it. On many occasions I was sitting in my 3v3 lobby with 1 friend and another random guy and here comes a guy who says "F*** you! Stacked"

You know how many times that happened on CoH?? 0

Teams are to be stacked. If you have 0 friends go play 1v1. But on any normal multi match friends want to play together. Stop acting as if that is in some way sinful.

Pretty big explanation why W:RD is over three years old and has over twice the playerbase size that this game does are many things but not view profile button, you know why, because Eugen changed it for SD 44 because thats what wargamers have been asking all this 3 years.Go read their Forum and the crys "i cant get a game because i have 80%+ ratio Eugen remove View Profile or i uninstall the game" posts over and over with a different topic name.

You also forget the level reset possibilitys, people can buy WRD for 5-10 dollars, what would you do if you a join 4/8 lobby and all the guys have like 20-50 games played, think oh nice a stack of noobs,i can stay, let me put my China Armored deck and show them how its done ?Now after 3 years you cant know if you play against a a guy/team with 4000 games or one of his/their new/reseted W:RD accounts.
