I see & like the inclusion of bus only lanes that also allow for emergency vehicle usage, but I for one would like to see the inclusion of service roads.
If I build a big park area and then place a landmark building within that park it needs road access to collect rubbish etc.
If I use normal roads then Sims use it as free parking/access to the park. It would be nice to have single lane 1 way & multi-lane multi direction roads for service vehicles only.
This would also come in handy if for example you wanted to build a recycling plant between suburbs. A service road could be used allowing garbage trucks to enter the facility from either suburb, without having every sim using it as a shortcut causing traffic chaos.
In this instance being able to select what can & can't use it would be nice. You could then set it to allow garbage trucks & emergency vehicles through, but disallow buses & taxis etc.
Also in the same way it'd be nice to have bus only roads double up as bus & taxi ways if selected.
