Serving Alcohol with no production

I am in a neighborhood that wants whiskey. I sent the alcohol tab to match so it's green and my speakeasy's are serving whiskey.
It shows on consumption tab that whiskey is being consumed.
I am not producing whiskey anywhere and have no stores. I only have rack and recently starting making top shelf.
There does not appear to be any negative in my bars. Each racket screen shows I am serving whiskey and my profits are up.
What is going on here??? All I have to do to meet demand is make the serving screen get a green check mark even if I don't produce or store any whiskey?

Maybe throw this over to bug reports? There you'll be able to attach screenshots so the devs can take a look into it.

I believe there are priorities if you aren't producing the correct alcohol. They are likely serving the next best kind of booze. I see that all the time at the beginning of the game since we can't rush breweries anymore. The consumption tab is always messed up. I just do some (probably bad) mental math and try to optimize it once my production is still set up.
