I want to report a historical innacuracy in the game: What is today Northern Chile, I think the provinces of Antofagasta, Arica and Calama have one VERY important resource which was a reason for 2 wars between Chile and Boliva and Peru, which is fertilizer and coal (Coal appears mainly in Calama). Acording to what I have seen in the game, those products do not appear.

I want also to report some provinces that appear without name on the map. In Brazil, for example. I can't remember the names, but I know it is in center Brazil and one on the border.

Hopefully the change is officially implemented, but if it isn't, you might want to try suggesting it here so that those resources are correctly included in the coming VIP mod (the first version of which will be released soon), if you so wish.

Yes, this is true. Also happens in a few other provinces. Unfortunately, Paradox has said that the map won't be redrawn in order to correct these things (as we would have to download a 100MB file if that happened).

You don't get fertiliser as a resource - sulphur makes fertiliser in the game and these provinces do have sulphur. The fact that Chile has no coal is odd - I'm trying to track down when the coal reserves were opened up.

As far as I know the nitrates aka fertiliser aka sulphur was the main reason for the war with Peru not coal.

The name thing won't get fixed as its a map change. dresden has a similar problem. Fixing it would take a 100+ MB download

Well, Coal was not the main reason, but it was sure a reason for political conflicts in the begining of the 20th century, and was already important in the Liberal Regim of Chile before the Chilean civil war of 1891.

I have just a question, isn't there a possibility to create a program which modifies the file itself? I am just proposing...
