She's dead...now what?

I started a game as Denarys Targaryen and was following the usual scripted shit utill i got Queen of Meereen, but during the war with Meereen to usurp the throne, Denarys died. her heir was Jorah Mormont and so i played as him, but when she died the war to usurp meereens throne ended and the only land we had was a shitty castle from astapor (yes we picked it up and carried it from there...). I decided to give the castle to a random courtier and grant him independence. I sat there, an unlanded character with an army of 17000. what now?

just realised that giving away the castle stopped me from moving into any of the ruined provinces, not that i had the money anyway.

I did restart, she was captured and tortured to death...then i became so random guy who didnt have a dynasty, which caused the game to crash.

Uuntil she was Queen of Mareen I got her ill twice, crippled twice, nothing happening most of the time and once with two or even three of "improved battle skill" events, so she was a cavalry leader and whatnot else. In that sense, it's perhaps worth the risk, as playing those first few wars takes like 10 minutes or so, should something go wrong. ^^

In any case, I find it sort of amusing, 'cause if the series was anything like the mod she'd probably just die in some random event before she has any real impact on Westeros ... build-up for x years, than she just dies. Ha.

I kept my castle in Astapor and waited untill i racked up 1000 of whatever the currency is. Then i moved into bhorash, rebuilt it and started to "colonise" the other ruins along the coast, such as Old Ghis and those islands in the middle of slavers bay. I also took Mantarys and Tolos then formed The North Valayrian kingdom.
