Hmm...has anyone tried to play as one of the Shia nations? if you have, have you noticed that they only get one of the benefits listed in the manual: the morale bonus. While this in itself is awesome and I gladly trade the -30% to my yearly income for it, they are waaaay behind reformists. Is it a bug that they don't get the 2 colonists and the +5 to stability or is it intentional? I brought up the colonist issue once before and from what I've heard Shia arn't meant to have those 2 colonists :( I haven't heard anything about why the stability bonus is absent, though.

I see mto remember having the stability bonus. But even then why do u need it ? U can always declare war without losing stability early on as u got CBs all over the middle east even against the Mamelukes as Persia.

Interestingly enough, the stability bonus is listed when I move my mouse over the stability bar (+5 Shiite), but it doesn't add that 5 ducats each month when you sit and watch (grin, I did that while I was sitting around and waiting for my 'badboy' to drop some). So say I'm getting +6 from budget and +10 from manufacturies along with the Shia bonus, it'll only go up 16 a month rather than 21. Normally I don't care about stability, but it does impact me when the clergy are unhappy or the government goes haywire :p (that -3 to stability hurts)
