ship designer bugs

the ship designers seems to not be working properly for me and any new designs i make for my ships dont work.

1. What platform are you using?

2. What version of the game are you using?

​

PS4 version 9.00 or content from 3.6-3.9​

3. What DLC do you have installed?

​

All Expansion Passes and DLCs​

4. When did this start happening?

​

After Download of Expansion Pass 6​

5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how

unsure what this question means fully but i started a 2nd game happened again​

6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?

has happened in 2 seperate games​

7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?

• its 1st appearence started when i tried to make a new destroyer ship class when doing so i click [new design] and weridly its name had (___-class corvette) rather then (___-class destroyer). then i tryed to change its components selection (interceptor, picketship, etc) and it only displayed corvette classes rather then destoryer classes and the name of the class name changed to an already desgined corvette made ship name.
• after finding that odd i reloaded the game, it happened again so i clicked random buttons to see what would happen. when clickling core components on the bugged ship designer it just deletes the whole design.
• started a 2nd game then tried to design 2 different types of Corvettes and 2 different Defense Platforms. after making Corvette A-Class and Corvette B-class fine, i started on the defense platforms made Platfrom A then started on B and boom happened again. i click [new design], then select Defense platform, notice the platforms name says B-Class Corvette but the image has a platform, click on 1 of the 2 [No Selection] and the full corvette pictures show up between (interceptor and picket ship) rather then the defense platforms choices. i choice 1 and a corvette design with defence plateform core components

8. any other info

i trying to add some images for context but it wont let me at the moment, sorry if i type badly or make things confusing but im unsure how to solve this and hope this helps in anyway that it can ive been playing console edition since it came out back in early spring 2019 and have been enjoying it and all the dlcs since so hopefully this lil problem wont be their long and it isnt to hard to fix. not sure what else to add so let me know if anymore info is needed and ill try my best to answer.​

Been having the exact same issues. It's really quite annoying and also makes the game harder since you can't design multiple types of ships for different threats and stuff-

Damn. But then again it is a new update with pretty major changes and upgrades so bugs are to be expected. Also having some audio bug when I go to the diplomacy screen with another empire, a toxoid one to be exact, and the noises that you hear when you open the diplomacy screen keep repeating over and over again and won't go away unless I close the game and reopen it. Brjrjfjdj hopefully will be fixed soon-

yeah its not really a big issue just a big annoyense since i like to have mixed fleets with different ships some PD, some interception, artillery, carriers, etc.

yeah i expected their to be some issues their normally is after a big update like this base game changes and the add on with the dlcs. ive also had the audio bug last night i opened a toxoid emipres diplo screen and its audio kept repeating even when i was in the home screen. i did the same and closed the game and reopened and it was fine luckily didnt even happen when i opened its diplo screen again. yeah hopefully it wont be to long to fix sucks but what can you do but let them know i guess.

I'm on an XBox Series X and having the same issue. Whenever I go into design a ship, it defaults to a Corvette and wont change.

Not a big issue for u maybe. But i cant play the game like this. Needs urgent fixing
