⚠️ Ship designer doesn't allow creating new ship designs (with and without auto build)

I'm not sure if this is working as intended. But when I read the patch notes on the wiki I believe it was mentioned that you can now design your own ships even with auto build enabled?

Would be nice to make a specific design to counter an empire or monster.

All of them, including C6 portrait

4. When did this start happening?
Immediately

Always so far

6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
All saves so far.

Yea no work around doesn't work when you can't access the proper classes of ship. And

What is a bug though is that the design name always jumps back to the already created design when you select a ship role, which is annoying as I always like to use the randomly generated name as I'm too uncreative to come up with one myself.

From what I’m experiencing is that when it does that, it just overrides that named design thus preventing you from making new designs. Happened to me after last update and download of galactic paragons and first contact.
