Shutdown of game

My game constantly closes to windows, i hoped
that the new patch 1.05b would fix that problem, but i think it appears even more now. Hope the problem gets fixed becuase its
extremely annoying. Any solutions?

Hello guys,

Some bits of advice, hope they work.
(btw the occasional shutdown is very common, but if you really suffer from them every couple of minutes try this).
Shut down as many other programs as you can, including tsr's (like antivirus programs)before starting the game.
Set an ample amount of virtual memory, preferably at the beginning of your hd (using norton)
Also, set automatic save on every year, it costs only a few seconds and the savegame is overwritten each time, so it doesn't clog your hd. This will avoid feeling awkward if the game does shutdown on you, because you'le only have to go back a couple of months.
