Name: Euskal, The King of Heroes

Deity Type: Animalistic, of Heroism
Religion Type: Ethnic
Religion Form: Polytheistic

Background:

Euskal is the embodiment of the concept of Heroism. As such, Euskal cannot be described as a "god". He is more akin to an ideal that those so inclined to will venture towards. However, in being the concept of Heroism, Euskal is a contradiction unto itself for those who wish to become heroes must commit the most heinous of crimes and produce the most glorious of epochs about their good deeds in order for them to become true heroes. In the process, heroes dehumanize themselves, committing acts that are beyond any person of his race making them equal to animals.

Deity Type: Elemental

Religion Form: Monotheist

Background: Danna is water and water is life. Changeable and constant, mysterious and familiar, nurturing and perilous, gentle and unstoppable, Danna's power flows through all the world. Her voice is in the falling rain and the rushing rivers. From her all that lives flows, and back into her all shall pass.

Those who are blessed by her and learn to understand her wisdom are granted great power, and they are the Priests and Priestesses of the De Danna. By sacred pools and under secret falls and on forgotten islets in the stormy sea they chant her songs. They give guidance to pilgrims on how to live their lives in concert with the currents she has set for them.

I've Counted 21 deities you know what that means? We can have more!
Anyway signups end on Sunday I won't be here much Thursday due to school nor will I be here Friday or Saturday because I'll be visiting family on Mardi Gras weekend.

Are we starting with a populous-like scenario, with little worshippers in primitive huts? Or just a shapeless ball of primordial goop?

Yes.

In all seriousness its up to you all if you will have a very small number of followers but the world will still be primordial and goopy. Your all fighting in the apocalypse so that the winner(s) will be unopposed in their crafting of the world from then on.

I have a question: are Monotheistic Gods completely on their own?

Naturally they shouldn't be able to form alliances with other Monotheistic Gods, that would be weird, but what about less powerful Polytheistic Gods?
Couldn't a Polytheistic Deity be reduced to or willingly agree to serve a Monotheist God with his Religion becoming a Cult within the greater God's Faith? Something like Henotheism?

Well its more of that when the final battle hits those players must fight alone win or lose. I won't restrict you all from working together until then because I honestly wouldn't be able to stop, but final fight monotheistic will have to free for all it. Also changing the mechanics for the final battle like that would remove a trait that makes the monotheistic separate from the polytheistic deities. If you could all ally together for final fight what would be the point of picking polytheistic or monotheistic they would be the same then. Good question though Viola.

He never speaks and is often hidden in the shadows of what his people call the Metro. ((More coming later))He does however, care about them. He fends of the demons of the world above, when they try to come down to his domain.

Well, Monotheist and Polytheist Deities wouldn't become the same, Monotheists would still have a very limited possibility for alliances (only with Polytheists and only if they agree to serve them) while Polytheists would still be the ones with practically unlimited alliance possibilities (with both other Polytheists and Monotheists).

Name: Absalia, Stormborn, Mother of the Tempest
Deity type: Elemental (Of Storm, Tempest and Hurricanes)
Relygion type: Proselytic
Reigion form: Polytheistic
Background: When the first Storm hit the seas, among the furious waves, a woman was born. She was Absalia, Goddess of the Storm. Hers are the hurricanes and tornadoes which hit the continents, hers are the storms which devastate the islands, hers are the tsunamis to command, she wields the destructive power of the Oceans and the Skies, she gave birth to the blind, evil snakes which dwell in the seas, she alone bored the mindless, destructive dragon-like beings which roam the skies.

But she is not malevolent. Harsh, sure. Maybe, cruel. But not completely malevolent. She protects the ones which pray to her, and even allows them to pray to other gods, as long as she keeps her sacrifices, and, sometimes, she may hit the enemies of her people. She specially loves pirates, vikings, and other sea-raiders, as they are the ones which better exemplify the destructive nature of Sea.
