Hi,

this may be a minor bug, but at the start of the game Sigrid of Ylving is 18 years of age, but if you look at her character page you notice she has a son (Henrik Nakonid) who is already 4 years old.
So 18-4 is 14 years, therefore as per game engine she shoulnd't have had that child at all :)

There is also a 14 year old king character you start out with that is already married. My guess is that it just may have been that way historically so they allowed it at start up, but they don't allow you to form these marriages in general because it would cause moral panic and the next thing you know the evening news will be blathering about how we need tighter control on video games because some Swedish company made a "pedophile simulator game".

I thought about that also, but you never know, maybe the programmers were under pressure towards the release and forgot to check this stuff :)

Nevertheless, we make a bigger fuss about early marriages than they did they did back then (only because we live longer and have more time to procreate)...not that I would have it back *lol* 14-years old girls are so spoiled these days ^^

It's a bit strange though. There's an impertus to marry early, which isn't at all historical untill centuries later than game start. No idea how to simulate the more historical marriage age though. Especially since you get such nice stat boosts from the marriage...
