I really enjoy watching Susie and Nikki play.

They made a comment that concerned me. They mentioned the background music. They started listing off the genres. Country music. You'd think they would have left all the bad choices for music back on the home planet!

I immediately started scanning for a SKIP music button. I am hoping there is one.

Based on most of their other newer games, yes there will be one. Alternately, there will be music mods. On the topic of the genres themselves, did you really expect country to not be on the list? How many space westerns are out there? I'm personally more scared of the near-guaranteed fifties style music, given their thematic approach, but I like a lot of country music. Here's the thing though, I nearly never paint an entire genre with the same brush. I like some country, I hate other, I like some rock, I hate other, I love a lot of classical, I hate other... so on and so forth. If your problem with country stems from the instrument choices mostly, then fine, feel free to ignore it, though a lot of modern country music uses the exact same instruments as rock does, and has for the past thirty years... but if you hate country music for the sole reason that it's country music, at least listen to it before removal. You might find you can at least stand whst they use, if not standard country. If the lyrics are your problem... seriously, when's the last Paradox music that had discernable lyrics anyway? Not counting the Christmas music DLC.

We do need the Lewis Disco List, though ! :p

There will be a "skip track" button, but it won't work on country tracks.

Now, seriously, Paradox studio games tend to have a music player built-in. SM is made by a different studio, but if not in initial release, I'd kinda expect it to show up eventually.
