Sliders don't update properly

Playing USSR again, taking the 30 dissent hit after declining to purge my most able military commanders. I had the slider for supplies to zero and the slider for Consumer Goods to maximum as I had supplies to spare and could run a deficit for a while, but then had to readjust. However, the Consumer Goods even when I set both minimum and maximum to zero. Furthermore, dissent kept reducting by 0.07 percent and money increasing by up to a hundred a day. I think I've had this once before, don't know what triggered it.

Nevermind, I overlooked the fact that I had all other sliders set to a certain maximum, forcing the game to 'overrule' me in order to avoid wasting IC. Maybe this could be made a little more easy to spot?

True...regardless of what situation..the sliders dont react to any changes unless you go back to the screen where you can set preferences for automatic slider adjustment....
another problem is that there is no option for "Preference on Supply" cause the AI tends to adjust on everything but ever lets you down on supplys production just to overproduce 10 of money...thats annoying...and once supplys are empty AI throws all IC into supply production for a few days and stops soemthing else like consumer goods or production queues..
