I don't know that there is much I can do to help if it is that one area, It is taxing your system.

What are your Memory and operating specs?
 
I defrag weekly so I don't think that the problem, but I'll uninstall the game then do it and try it again. I imagine I'm into by swap memory... how much Ram should I get to avoid using it . I know how to make a swap portion, but its unnecessary since I already have a dedicated 60 Gig HD to the game, although it shares the drive with all of Paradox's games , thanks Mr T.

I would suggest 512 with win 98.
 
512 Would be the min with XP 1 GIG = good, yes. :)
 
Why not post a link to your thread in the bug forum then.
