7. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and looked for possible solutions online to no avail.
The game's performance noticeably slows down when entering the mid game (2300) and progressively gets worse over the course of the game. Before the Overlord update the performance was fast and smooth but now it is worse. I haven't seen any acknowledgement from Tantalus on this issue but I'm hoping they'll release another patch soon.
