While looking through the files, the char IDs seem excessively high/long. The game must not like this, but why are the ID's so high? I know there are lots of characters, but whew, game is probably struggling whenever it has to spit out 10+ long digit ID's,

Not intended as a criticism of the mod, but can I ask why the ID's are made to be so high? Also, does removing slavery or turning it off really help performance?

Its not a joke, really. I legit want to know.

If the base game were much more optimized from the ground up, long character IDs could potentially force the use of a larger data type and very slightly affect performance. However, the base game is not so-optimized, and will never be so-optimized because compiling everything in such a way that it would matter would not only break existing mods but make modding as we know it more or less impossible. AGOT mod's system demands are more a matter of number of characters than anything about the characters. If your system is on the edge of being able to comfortably run it, you could try the westeros only submod.
