I appear to have a problem similar to that of Aginor, in my game as Czechoslovakia, after, like, 13 years of game play (and some slight modding of the savefile - though nothing error-causing) the game stops responding every (gameplay) day, precisely at 06:00 hour; it freezes for about 15 seconds, after which it plays on normally, until the next day's 06:00... It's pretty unnerving, I must say. Renders the game almost unplayable.

BTW it's Arma 1.2; all drivers are up to date.

This is a common problem with late game slowdown. Basically the ai goes through every unit on the map to determine the next course of action and with every major nation having 300+ units everything crawls to a halt.

Faster CPU causes less of a problem but the slowdown effect is still very annoying by 1950 even with a really fast CPU.
