Sluggish UI since 1.05 patches

So before the patch, game played beautifully

Now, I launch the game from Steam, it loads fine

Click Single Player -> 3-4 mins freeze -> Loads map
Click different county -> 3-4 min freeze
Click back -> 3-4 mins freeze
Click Options -> 3-4 min freeze
Click Video tab -> 3-4 mins freeze
Click back -> 3-4 min freeze

Notice the trend there? Haven't even bothered to start a game since a 3-4 min freeze between clicks makes it unplayable

Hmmm disregard, ran the "verify integrity of local game files" in Steam and even though it claimed it found nothing wrong .... it fixed the issue
