I'm trying to create something to be a next tier water treatment plant that while having higher resource consumption does not have any water based pollution and actually outputs clean water. While the numbers in the asset editor look to be able to do what I'm looking for, there is not a way to add the same kind of snap point for the water pipes that all of the other water assets have and so when placed on the map it doesn't produce a good result.

Ideas?

what happens when you select buildings in the asset editor then click water tab then select the default waterpump then load in your own texture?
I assume you probably already tried this though.

You get a water pump/drain/tower/treatment plant with no way to attach a water pipe, and the editor in game has no prop as I've seen for this.

yup. Rudolph is correct. The snapping point is no where to be found.

The snaping system is a prop. I got the water pump to work by using load with previous props and such the option bottom left. Now this method gives an error for the water drain pipe when i try to load it item not instanced error basically saying the item doesnt exist in assets.

wish that they had a list of the actual asset names somewere as to know what to type in asset name

Does that mean the water snapping point has to be imported?
