So I recently bought CK2 and now I don't have a life...which game should I try next?

HOI3 with all of it's expansions. HOI is my all time fav, and much to the chagrin of those advocating anything on an earlier engine (been playing hoi since 2002 or 2003), imho 3 is the best

The closest to CK2 would be Rome imho

Disagree there. HoI is too complicated (Imho) to go from CK2. To me the best path is Rome-> CK2 -> EU3 -> Victoria 2 -> HoI 3

I would recommend trying out Victoria 2. EU3 is old and EU4 is going to be released soon so personally i'm just going to wait for EU4 before really getting into EU series.
