Very recommended!

With all the screen prints, videos and post on here; you should be able to come up with your own thoughts on it though.
There hasn’t been anything bad said about. Suggestions for improvements – yes, but not really anything so out of this world bad about it. And the suggestions that have been mentioned – the Devs are listening and have already implemented one of the most asked for ideas. And are working on putting in the next one on the list. . . . . . . And this is all within the first two weeks.
Free DLC just went out and a might as well be free DLC also ($1).
Tons of content in the game – at least way more then I every get around to using.
Endless playability in the Custom Game mode.
Enough Dwarves? Depends on your definition of enough I suppose. I think so. others may not agree though. I don’t like to have too many running around. Just because I don’t want to miss what they are all doing.
Much more in the game than I can possible tell you about without being accused of spamming the forum.
And all for only the price of two McDs Happy Meals. But the fun from this game is tons more enjoyable than the toys you get from Ronald the Clown.
:D

Sounds good, I'm not too much into burgers anyway. It looks like a fun game but I just wanted some players perspectives upfront. I think I will purchase it soon! thanks

I'm sure they will tweak it with patches? is there a range of difficulty settings?

That seems to be the trend - instead of nerfing away all the hard stuff it seems they might add them as toggles.

Tyrion was last seen somewhere in the East with a company of sellswords, and sadly, he missed out on his scheduled appointment in A Game of Dwarves! Except him, though, everydwarf managed to make it, so there's plenty of short ones around to meet all your dwarven needs!

If you like digging (of course you do!), drinking (ditto!), building cool stuff (better than Minecraft!), managing an economy (I know, normally the wife does that ...), discovering rooms full of treasure (not just barrels of beer), and you fancy a laid back, creative gaming experience, you'll enjoy the game. :)

It's a relaxed type of game, so if you're looking for something that will be keeping you on your toes then AgoD isn't for you (you can easily get owned though, but never if you take your time to get set up) - content patches are in the horizon for those wanting more of a challenge though. But among the games in the relaxed genre AgoD is definitively a game that stands out as one of the better choices you can make and will definitively provide you with a good time whenever you feel like chilling out. :3

If you played Dungeon Keeper or Dungeons then it is very similar. Lay out your digging spots. You do not have "room borders" like thsoe two games did. You could put anything in any room along with other things. The other difference is the map has levels where they did not, you have 20ish levels (minus above ground) on a map to dig to build your stronghold.

Only it does not have as much action. If you were looking for that much action then you will probably be disappointed. More fo a building/decorating game than an action game.

Well worth the $10 pricetag, I think Paradox underestimated themselves, they could have easily charged $15 and people would still been happy with the pricetag. Not quite enough content and flashiness for the $20 range though.
