As others have pointed out, it is not yet time for DDs about the Coronations pack. Drawing negative conclusions about the pack or the devs’ intentions because the devs haven’t published DDs before the scheduled time for those DDs is illogical. ;)
If they can do the AuH diaries early, they could do coronations early too, especially after khans of the steppe ignored so much community feedback.
You say that like it is a bad thing...?
It is a bad thing that they care more about recently gained chinese fans than the long term fans yes
tbh if it's meant only to include a couple event chains and two to three new mechanics then I guess there's not much to give feedback about
The devs post tours and tournaments said they didn't want to ever make tours compulsory, despite them being central to how feudal govs worked, had they given us diaries months ahead of time, theyd have had the time to balance a compulsory or optional tours game rule

I feel like the extra attention given to All Under Heaven is just because it's the first Major Expansion post their new policy of asking for early feedback. But I agree that they could've given us something regarding Coronations by now.

Remember, they recently gave us a poll with 4 possible expansions they plan to do and 2 of them were Europe-centric.

And All Under Heaven is of interest to the whole playerbase, not just "new audience".

Could also be december for AUH, with balancing/bugfixing through january, maybe realm maintenance in february before the next chapter
December releases are a very bad idea. The devs usually take time off for Christmas and until mid January. Releasing a major update/expansion and then going away for three to four weeks? Nah, not anymore.

They did that with MegaCorps for Stellaris. It backfired so spectacularly, that burn still stings. So no, Dec releases are out for a reason, and the lesson was paid for with lots of pain for both sides.

Everyone knows that Compulsory mechanic = Boring and annoying mechanic, especially for activities. If you really want a mechanic to be welcomed, make sure to always make it optional.

I also think that after working for years on game that was – in all fairness – concentrated mostly on Europe, and having done coronations in some forms in CK1, the team is much more familiar with the Coronations subject matter than it is with AuH.

Of course, PDX has resources to consult people with greater familiarity with the matter than the overwhelming majority of forums has… but still: at this point they probably are very familiar with the feedback over how the Europe should look like & what the players want (even if they will make an informed decision to do otherwise), yet never really received any feedback to what players would like to have implemented in terms of CK3 mechanics for Japan or SEA.

They can be familiar with the feedback, but if they dont implement it, its not of much use. Players are also likely to want many changes from ck2 coronations

Stress releif and legitimacy are so important, that feasts, hunts, and funerals are de facto compulsory

And these activities ARE boring. Cycles for activities are far from enough. I can't recall how many times two strangers suddenly started to fight against each other, how many hunting end up fruitless, or any grand tour without window tax. That would be the same for any upcoming compulsory activity. EVERYTHING is highly predictable and rigid, even for those who haven't completed a single campaign.

Right in that case late november at the most

I think mid-November (about 15th of November) at the very latest, since they'd presumably like to have it out more than a month before Christmas.
That would probably be ideal, I was thinking december mainly to give maximum development time so it comes out already not needing much bugfixing/balancing and we can play it fresh through new years. Though maybe that's unrealistic considering how nomads and admin went.

My expectation would be that the latest possible release date for All Under Heaven this year would be 17th of November, since they tend to release DLCs on Mondays.

Though I think it's very likely it will come out a week or two earlier.
