Socialist Italy with facist leaders

In my last game as the USSR, I did conquer mainland Italy and made the Socialist Italian Republic puppet, but all the ministers where the old fascist ones including Mussolini.

Another minor thing, even thou I had made a new Italy and GB had control of North Africa, another Italy was created on one of the small islands (Sardinia as I remember) but it was under control of USA (they where not in war). So a new country with one province they do not even control. That does not make a lot of sence...

If I understand correctly, it's the Italian Social Republic, and it was the puppet state of Germany's after the Allies invaded Italy. Thus, the only ministers available are Mussolini and his guys.

Hmmmm. I think you are right, but then it should still be fixed somehow, it does not really make sense to have a Stalinist Italy, with the same name and people as if it is the German North Italian puppet republic

Best bet is to annex Italy proper, then release it. Actual "Italy" as opposed to the RSI has a full array of ministers from all sides of the political spectrum.
