Socottra

hi!
there is a little island east of Africa called Socottra. i play Spain and want to use it as a gateway to my colonies in south-east-asia. But although I have a colony there, my ships cannot access the port. i started the original grand campaign and have now installed 1.07c but it had no effect on this problem. Anyone else lost in the sea of Socottra?

You do not have to target the harbor sprite, you can target the island itself for the ships movement order.

I prefer Mahe, Bourbon or Reunion for bases in the Indian Ocean. The resource is more expensive (ie sugar), they grow quickly and often get CoTs...
