I first attempted to create a " Burgundy nation" at start, vassal of Austria and an historical event giving inheritance to Spain during karl V reign. It didn't worked...

So i've used another interesting possibility: at start, a nation can be vassalized by 2 others: so " Burgundy"will be both vassal of Austria, until 1515, and of Spain; normally, Spain should annex burgundy around 1525. dates are of course arbitrary but the real date would be preceded in EU by the netherland revolt which is always starting too soon, around 1540.

There are until now no crashes or bugs.

I will too create at start an alliance Austria Burgundy Spain which will too fix thie game accuracy problem about Spain Austria relations in the beginning of the game.

Sounds outstanding and it will make the early game very interesting as France and friends try and stop the only really legimate bid for a universal monarchy. it should change the entire focus of the early game...for the better.

The biggest concerned I'd have would be to make sure the French has good enough relations with some minor states that they can build an alliance to stop the Habsburg monster.

You're certainly right. I will in this case raise diplomatic relations with some German states and Portugal if needed after a few tests.

Laurent,
Im afraid you have started a process from which you will not be able to escape. Maybe after RealEU26 you will be finally satisfied. Keep up the good work.

I would like to play this game

Seriously, except this change, others are minor in Real EU 5: a couple of variation about land tech dates, some poland and teutonic settings, Turkey starting land tech. I really believe real EU to be pretty mature as games seems to keep a good balance between historicity and alternative history. I hope I'm right... :) :)
