One line summary of your issue
The game is going through an endless loop of "Refreshing Save Games 100%."

What platform are you running the game on?

Steam

What operating system do you use?
Windows 7
Which version of the game are you running?
1.9.1-686R
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare,
Heavy Metal

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The game continually says "Refreshing Save Games 100%." I don't have any mods installed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game (following the tutorial at https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...h-guide-uninstall-battletech-cleanly.1107452/). I have tried using older versions. I tried deleting all but one of the save games in my save games folder (the one I kept was about a year old, from before this issue). I tried reinserting my save games from a backup. I tried the last two things again only with Cloud Saves and Storage disabled. I don't know if this matters, but even with Steam Cloud disabled, all of my save games returned when I reinstalled Battletech. This even happened when I followed Edmon's video for a clean uninstall.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes

Steps to reproduce the issue
I have no idea what is causing the issue so I don't know how to respond.

Attach DxDiag (PC), System Info log (Mac), or run sudo lshw -html > specs.html and uploaded specs.html (Linux)

Attach Output Log

Mac OS: Users >{name} > Library > Logs > Unity > Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/BATTLETECH/Player.log

If the game crashed, please attach the crash file with the time stamp closest to the crash.

This is a problem caused by antivirus apps. BitDefender is the most common one but there are several others that do the same.

Whatever you use, add BattleTech.exe to its exceptions list. If you have BitDefender you also need to add the game to its separate Safe Files function.

All the best!
