Solved - "EU cd not found" problem

Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks for the GREAT game! Wreaking havoc on my social life, the sleepless nights are surmounting....

Anyhow, I ran into the CD not found problem (Koch version)after applying the 1.08 patch. The problem arises if your CD-ROM drive letter(s) are different from "default".

E.g Hard-drives are C, D and E. CD-ROM drive is K.
After the patch (it seems) the program tries to find the CD from drive F ( the next logical drive letter after E)!!

What you need to do is change the CD-ROM drive letter to be "in sequence". Not very elegant, but it works.

Ahh!

That could explain it on my case too. Have CD as Z.. but propably if change it every other program that needs CD will be broken

I used the same method (2 weeks ago), and it works. So I'm currently in the year 1700 of my first GC (with Russia) and right now, I'm ready to diplo-annex Sweden in a few years. Denmark, Hannover and Saxony soon will follow.
