Some Flags changed to Black and Red

There are a few titles whose flag has changed to the same half Black have Red image. Two titles of such is the HRE (Renamed to Santo Imperio Romano) and the viceroyalty Pannonia. I deleted GFX file and I tried validating files on steam. Both didn't work. Anyone have else experience this? Anyone have a solution?

Is this in a new game started under 2.8 ? Or a save carried over from earlier versions?

May as well try a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK2 or Documents CK2 locations, before installing again.

I tried this and the Flags are still Black and White. This happened after I installed Jade Dragon.
Edit: Is there a way to change the flags manually? It seems to only affect the save files where it started. Of course now I can't go back to before it was affected since I deleted those. But I wouldn't mind manually changing them.

Doesn't seem to affect new games, so that probably means the glitch happened to one of my saves after I installed Jade Dragon. Unfortunately I deleted my saves before Jade Dragon :/

It won't be Jade Dragon that did it but the accompanying patch 2.8 .

You can revert to 2.7.2 if you wish.
