Hi guys

Not sure if this is supposed to happen- just give some background

I have Victoria patched up to 1.02- have a game disc I bought in a local store that looks and acts like the real thing, I am in australia.

My wife is away and I put away the whole weekend to play the game- and got through the end of my sweeden GC- finished in the top 5- whoooooo

Started netherlands and took it through to about 1850-then thought as it was 5 in the am I might go to bed and took the disc out- only it wasn't there!

Most games require you to have the disc in- seems elementary protection of your intellectual property rights- was most surprised that this game did not

Don't really need a reply- but just thought I'd let you know- I assume this is a flaw from the distributor who made the disc

It is such a great game I thought you would like to know (ps the partisan thing is a little overdone too- otherwise brilliant)

Cheers

Richard

Victoria release has no copy protection as most of Paradox games!

I hate Copy protection and having to swap discs, plus it causes problems for legitimate users. The Pirates will get the game anyway if they really want it.

This is abolutly right!
copy protection causes problems not more.

nobody on this forum ll ever copy a paradox game (I Guess :D )
therefor copy protection isnt a real deal for paradox :D

Unfortunately we ban Pirates from here all the time. :(
