Hi there I have all Paradox games on both GOG and Steam. But a have some problems with them. Firstly GOG version of them have some missing DLCs and I am thinking those games have some bogus files inside their installation folders.

Firstly Hearts of Iron IV for example this game isn't released on GOG but I didn't see any bogus file inside of the Steam folder.

Then Europa Universalis IV looks like some bogus files inside of it

For GOG version it has pdx_core_test.pdb, eu4.pdb
For Steam version it doesn't have those files.

GOG version of Europa Universalis IV also seems missing those DLCs

dlc107_leviathan_unit_pack
dlc108_north_america_music
dlc109_south_east_asia_music
dlc100_imperator_unit_pack

For Crusader Kings II this game is both on Steam and GOG

on Steam tbbmalloc_proxy.pdb, tbbmalloc.pdb, tbb.pdb

DLCs are seems same on both but GOG version have same missing e-books. I don't know maybe it's a time limited thing etc.

For Stellaris

Steam version doesn't have any bogus files but GOG version seems have PDXBrowser.pdb, CEFProcess.pdb, stellaris.pdb, pdx_core_test.pdb, vc141.pdb.

For Crusader Kings III it seems have some dylib files in Windows build. Isn't those files for MacOS build.

steamclient.dylib, libsteam_api.dylib, libtbb.dylib, libtbb_debug.dylib, libtier0_s.dylib, libvstdlib_s.dylib, libSteam.dylib

Please cleanup those builds. I really love this studio but generally I saw something like those. Please fix these. Thank you again for those awesome games.

Reactions:
If you've bought DLCs but don't have them, that's either a game installation or GoG/Steam problem. By no means is it a QA issue, or all GoG/Steam customers would be missing them.

I'm sure those files you call out have nothing to do with any missing DLC problems you see.

Please post in the relevant game's tech support forum, with a clear description of that DLCs you've bought but don't have, in which vendor's game version, and I'll see what I can do for you.

Ok I opened threads for their respective forums.
