Hello!

Just played a tutorial game and I've noticed some stuff I'd like to see changed/replaced/added.

General
- Where is it informed of how I get taxes and troops from Catholic bishops?
I cannot find this information anywhere. In CK2, a tooltip tells you that a bishop won't give his taxes or men to you unless he likes you more than the Pope. I cannot find such information in CK3 - or even something explaining how you can get those from bishops. Therefore, I request that such information is added to the game - as both tooltip (when hovering over a bishop's Troops count) and in the Encyclopedia.

- Where is the modifier for having a Warhorse?
My character got a warhorse and a series of events asking me to improve this or that. However, I couldn't find whatever the warhorse really did to me - a bunch of modifiers were granted to me for some time, but where are they in the interface?

20200901212322_1.jpg

All these choices cost me money and change the horse somewhat, but I don't see HOW much it is changed.

- Left-click on the banner should take me to the related window
Whenever the top window banner shows up (like when you get a hook on someone), left-clicking on it should take you to the related window (in the example, to the Intrigue > Hooks window).

20200901213125_1.jpg

This banner, right here; left-click, go to the Martial Perk window. Or so I though, while left-clicking on it and getting nothing in response.

- Sorely missing a ledger
A ledger would help immensely to feel more integrated with the world and get some metrics of my realm.

Map
- Geographic Area mode (where is Western Germany?)
The map modes selection is sorely lacking. The Culture window has some fascinations that you cannot use unless you have land in a certain area, converted to a certain culture. But how can I know where is X or Y area? How do you determine it? I request a Geographic Area map mode, where we can see what encompasses the likes of Western Germany.

20200901195609_1.jpg

Ok, so Bavarian Culture isn't part of the Western Germany area - but the game doesn't tell me what Western Germany is made of!

20200901195637_1.jpg

But the French have? I can see the striped, whiteish area... is that part of Western Germany? It should have a map just for it!

20200901195649_1.jpg

And the Dutch isn't part of the Western Germany area... but the French are? Absurd!

- Diplomatic Map mode (allies, rivals, truces, etc)
This kind of map mode is reeeeeally useful when you play the diplomatic game. Please, add one!

- Political map on max zoom
Details map mode is basically the old CK2 terrain map - which I never used. I'd like to see land colored by their political color instead.
(What I really want is the paper map in all zoom levels :p)

- Reduce the edge pan layer thickness
Allowing my cursor to edge pan the camera makes me move it all the time whenever I hover it over stuff at the border of the map. Please, reduce the 'thickness' of that mechanic's layer so we would need to bring the cursor to the extreme of the screen to move it.

20200901194408_1.jpg

My cursor is at the left of the tooltip. If I move it some pixels to the left, the screen will start to move. That's pretty far away from the edge!

- Higher contrast for occupied counties' stripes
I feel that occupied land's stripes are too light contrasted. Sometimes, I can even skip it!

20200901211102_1.jpg

A quick look would make me miss the occupied area above the Y - the hue between striped areas and their surrounds aren't always noticeable enough.

Character Window
- Sort courtiers by skills
Although there is a drop-down menu for that, I'd rather have buttons for each skill instead, like in CK2.

- Sort vassals by skills or levies
Same, but levy number is important when you have zounds of vassals.

20200901195037_1.jpg

There should be buttons to sort out those vassals (and courtiers in their tab) like there are in the Character Search window

- Stress should also be shown here
Although there is a Stress bar at the bottom left corner of the screen, it's easy to simply forget it during the game. I expect to see that kind of information near the stats of my character. Is it possible to add a Stress value near my traits?

County Window
- Holder history
This was a fancy tool in CK2 that is missing here. In CK3, I cannot know whoever hold a piece of land before. You could limit to the last 5 holders - or even 3.

20200901203423_1.jpg

No holder history button for the County of Athlone. It would be nice to have it back.

Arrange Marriage
- Save filters in profiles
CK2 allowed us to save search profiles for marriage windows. Please, bring it back!

- Search box
I'd like to search for a specific name, culture or trait, thank you very much.

20200901195026_1.jpg

Gimme a search box, pls!

Character Search
- Invite to Court result already on avatar
This one was a highly demanded feature of mine back in CK2 and I'm really sad to not see it in CK3. It would save a LOT of time if I didn't have to right-click on each courtier to see if they already want to move to my court or if I have to bribe them.

20200901194752_1.jpg

See that red X in the tooltip? It should have already been shown on the courtier's avatar in the Character Search Window. Even better, a yellow icon for those we can bribe into acceptance of an invite to court request. CK2 has those - there's no reason CK3 shouldn't have them.

- Save filters in profiles
CK2 allowed us to save search profiles for character search windows. Please, bring it back!

- Search box
I'd like to search for a specific name, culture or trait, thank you very much.

Court Window
- Sort courtiers by skills and add a search box
Like the other comments on this.

20200901200411_1.jpg

As said before: buttons to sort them out by their skills and a search box to find specific fellas

- Show how much Ransom each prisoner would make
I'd like to hover over the Ransom button and already be told how much I could fetch for ransoming someone. Now, I have to click on each prisoner to know that.

20200901211903_1.jpg

- The "+" button should show courtiers available to be Court Physicians, instead of doing exactly the same thing of the Search for Physician button
This one I don't know why it is like that. Both buttons to exactly the same thing! The big yellow '+' should bring up the character search window with your courtiers instead.

20200901200411_1.jpg

At the top of the Court Window, the big yellow plus shouldn't do the same of the Search for Physician button

Intrigue Window
- Hooks on the Character Screen
Just like Stress, Hooks are in a separate area - the Intrigue window. However, I'd like to see a Hook symbol in the Character Window to know that I have a hook on that individual.

20200901202554_1.jpg

A hook symbol near the traits would allow me to quickly notice I have some leverage against this dude

Military Window
- Raising Man-at-arms after you've already raised your troops
Is there no way to raise a Man-at-arms regiment after you've already raised your troops? If there isn't, the game should tell you why.

---

Well, that's all - for now!

There is history for title holders. It's the book icon next to claimants

I cannot find this information anywhere. In CK2, a tooltip tells you that a bishop won't give his taxes or men to you unless he likes you more than the Pope. I cannot find such information in CK3 - or even something explaining how you can get those from bishops. Look up Endorsed by Bishop (or just Endorsed) in the encyclopedia.

- Where is the modifier for having a Warhorse?
My character got a warhorse and a series of events asking me to improve this or that. However, I couldn't find whatever the warhorse really did to me - a bunch of modifiers were granted to me for some time, but where are they in the interface?
I haven't had that one, but your modifiers are located as icons on the profile screen next to your faith and culture.

County Window
- Holder history
This was a fancy tool in CK2 that is missing here. In CK3, I cannot know whoever hold a piece of land before. You could limit to the last 5 holders - or even 3.
As was mentioned above, this is the book icon next to Claimants. Basically the same spot in CK2, but harder to notice because it looks like part of Claimants.

Arrange Marriage
- Save filters in profiles
CK2 allowed us to save search profiles for marriage windows. Please, bring it back!
This should be "saved" automatically... at least for your current game. If I set the filter to "age within 5 years", it will keep that every time I open the search window.

- Search box
I'd like to search for a specific name, culture or trait, thank you very much.
You can. Click on Filter and type your search text in the box at the top.

Intrigue Window
- Hooks on the Character Screen
Just like Stress, Hooks are in a separate area - the Intrigue window. However, I'd like to see a Hook symbol in the Character Window to know that I have a hook on that individual.
There is a hook symbol on the bottom right of the character's image in the profile screen if you have a hook on them. It can be hard to see. It appears above the person's name to the right of their image.

EDIT:
UPDATE:
I got the warhorse and looked at the character profile screen. The modifier doesn't show there where other similar kinds of modifiers are. I tried looking all around for it and never found it. Not sure why it's not visible.
