Been playing with Germany for under an hour, so far only in middle of 1936 but so far I 've noted:

1. Some tech. pictures/images in tech screen are wrong. There is a picture of Stuart tank with 1930 tankette and some other but I'm sure that's only because it's an early version

2. Unit pictures are wrong. There is a Avf7 (or whatever) WWI tank picture with a PZI unit, early CAS (HS123) has a picture of a HS 129 (which is a late CAS), the same goes for early interceptors (there is a picture of a BF109D next to a He 51, Foker D.XIII has a picture of He 51,...)

3. Pocket battleships. They is a Deutchland class PB and Deutcshland class pocket cruiser??

4. When you research 1930 tankette you get a PZ1 armoured car??

5. Naval leaders have a capacity of 100 (Grand admiral) and 75 (admiral). Don't you think that fleets of 100 ships are somehow too big? How will the AI handle that?

6. Are you planing to add "ordinary" unit icons to units , not only counters as it is?
Speaking of unit graphics, I yearn for a GIP-C.O.R.E. merge...

Since a lot is changed with model numbers in CORE, I suppose they haven't catched up yet with addning new graphics/pictures to everything. And if you're using any gfx-mod that adds nation specific unit icons things gets even funnier. :p

Well that's an Armoured Recon attachment equipped with Tankettes, in germany's case Pz-I. So I think it sounds pretty okay?

5. Naval leaders have a capacity of 100 (Grand admiral) and 75 (admiral). Don't you think that fleets of 100 ships are somehow too big? How will the AI handle that?

Probably it's increased due to the fact that in CORE, 1 Destroyer = 1 vessel and 1 Submarine = 1 vessel

There is a graphics pack in development that will solve those problems. We eliminated a lot of graphics to keep the download size small. Most sites are limited to around 10 mb.

Do you have one of the other graphics or other mods that doesn't use mod-dir installed?

There is a Deutschland-class pocket battleship (heavy cruiser) and a Deutschland-class pre-dreadnaught battleship. These were the historical class names for those types of ships.

I will leave this to the land warfare designer.

This is necessary to accomodate single vessel fleets. The AI will max out its Admirals.

Are you talking about sprites? At this time there are no plans to do anything with sprites. MDow

I think he's talking about the unit pictures, not sprites.

The infantry has those little crosses, same for most brigades. I don't really like it either :)

Ahh, you mean division graphics (rectangles with crossed lines). At the moment I have not heard of plans to use a graphical-style icon. The default icons will remain the NATO standard map graphics. MDow
 
While I enjoy the pretty colors and graphics a lot of mods use, I found that the NATO division symbols and such you use really grew on me. They add a lot of... flavor? Individuality? To the mod. They make it feel more... wargamey? So here's a vote in favor of them =)
 
Alas, I must vote against the NATO icons.. it is quite hard to tell the difference between leg inf and mot inf, for instance, and personally, I much prefer to see an illustrative pic of the unit - especially with some of the very nice graphics out there these days. Also, the illustrative graphics often show the named model as well, which helps distinguish nations.

Don't you think that fleets with 75 ships are a little too big? In any case they are almost unmanagable

I'm talking about division graphics. They are not such a problem though, I believe unit graphic is far bigger issue ATM
